Product Introduction

Jia Ma Tea, also known as GABA Tea, is produced by incorporating anaerobic fermentation—a key step—into the Taiwanese Oolong tea process. After withering, the tea leaves are placed in a vacuum machine to remove oxygen and maintained in an oxygen-free environment for an extended period. Tea leaf cells then initiate “anaerobic metabolism,” converting Glutamic Acid into γ-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA) via enzymatic action.
