Product Introduction

Polygonatum is a perennial herb of the Liliaceae family. Its rhizome is plump and moist, rich in polygonatum polysaccharides, flavonoids, steroidal saponins, amino acids, and 28 trace elements such as zinc and selenium, serving as a precious traditional Chinese medicinal and edible ingredient. After being processed by the ancient nine-times steaming and sun-drying method, its medicinal property turns mild from slightly cold. It becomes mellow and oily with higher dissolution of active ingredients, less greasy burden on the stomach, better tonic effects, and easier digestion and absorption, known as "Immortal's Grain". Recorded in classics including Chinese Pharmacopoeia, Compendium of Materia Medica, Jingyue Quanshu, Miscellaneous Records of Famous Physicians, Records of Natural History and Baopuzi · Immortal Herbs, it is also systematically expounded in the modern work Chinese Polygonatum. Mild in nature and sweet in taste, it is gentle and nourishing after ancient processing,
