Product Introduction

Known for its antioxidant potency, essential bioavailable mineral content, and anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties, Korea’s 9 times baked Bamboo Salt has a long heritage and tradition. It takes 3 years and 25 days to produce. Sea salt is aged for more than three years to remove bittern, then packed into fresh bamboo stalks, with the openings sealed using high quality clay. Then it is baked over pine firewood at temperatures of around 800°C. After the first baking, the bamboo ash is removed, and the salt content is repacked into new bamboo stalks for another cycle of baking. This process is repeated nine times. During the ninth cycle, the temperature is increased to about 1,700°C, causing the salt to melt into a lava-like form, resulting in a powerful substance. It can be added to food or drinks. It helps neutralize acidity and promotes a more alkaline balance. It can also be used in various ways, both internally and externally.
